10 months agoI LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The meat literally falls apart in your mouth. The tater salad is amazing too, actually everything is, I have nothing to complain about at this place! The customer service is indeed worth stopping for!

11 months agoMy dad and I were going through town on Independence Day and needed a place to stop for lunch. Not only were they open, but their brisket sandwiches were delicious! If something brings you to Gatesville, I'd totally recommend stopping by for a bite.

2 years agoThis place is a hidden gem!!! Food was so good it puts you to sleep !!! Best BBQ PLACE I HAVE BEEN TO !!! Definitely try the home made Banana pudding. Show them love cause this is the go to spot ! Meat is fresh !!

2 years agoI really wish I could give this place a better rating! 2 stars for the food, 3 stars for the service. The meat seemed very old—like it was at least the 3rd day it had been reheated to serve. Chopped brisket BBQ sandwich and a three meat plate—all of it was dried out and subpar. On the three meat plate there was one rib. ONE. The beans and potato salad were pretty good but holy cow, the meats left us queasy and regretting we had eaten there. Unfortunately I cannot say we’ll ever be back. I didn’t have my phone with me, or the pictures I would have taken would easily show what I just described.

2 years agoQuick, easy, delicious, small meat portions but for the price it's very competitive, best chicken I've ever had, not too smokey. It's seasoned perfectly, and falls off the bone. It's all outdoor seating so be sure to get yours to go if it's hot or cold out.

2 years agoWe came across this place on our way from Dallas. Glad we gave it a try. Nice couple. Great-tasting BBQ, plus we really enjoyed the potato salad, baked beans and banana pudding. We definitely plan on returning.

2 years agoMr. Marshall, and his fabulous crew always make me feel at home. I love stopping in to Marshall's ComeBack Bar-B-Que. My favorite is the Brisket, Beans, Potato Salad and Banana Pudding. I always get 1-2 pounds of meat, and the rest to go also. I get to enjoy till the next week's drive by to get more.

3 years agoI tried the ribs before buying as well as the potato salad both are absolutely terrific. And Nolan Marshall is a lot of fun to talk to. He's also told me he'll make barbecue chicken for me if I give him some notice and I'm excited about it. Five stars. I also love their location which is very down home and small town. This is the kind of barbecue I was looking for.
